Behind Every Beautiful Creation

Hi, I’m Hanmarié, the face, baker and creative behind Kapkyk.

Kapkyk started from a love for baking and a little kitchen experiment that somehow turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years, what began as a passion has grown into a business that has been part of birthdays, weddings, baby showers, anniversaries and so many special celebrations.

I still get just as excited when someone sends me an idea and says, “Can you make this?” I love taking that little spark of an idea and turning it into something beautiful  and, of course, delicious.

For me, baking has always been about more than just cake. It’s about the feeling behind it, the people celebrating, and the memories being made around the table. Every Kapkyk cake is made from scratch, with carefully chosen ingredients and a lot of love (and probably a little too much attention to detail!).

After all these years, I’m still incredibly grateful that something I started simply because I loved baking has become Kapkyk and that I get to be part of so many of your sweetest moments.
